PRESERVE OUR ASL NOW!

Hello ASL supporters and non-ASL believers.


I would like to mention why we need to preserve ASL as our language. I agree completely with Bobbie Beth, our NAD President on her comments on the subject of ASL. Here are my points of view on stated below:

• ASL provide great visual aid to understand the picture of what is going on around us. Babies tend to learn faster with ASL than speaking at very early age.
• ASL were the key that we invented football huddle and baseball signals. Dummy Hoy and Galluadet University football.
• ASL does provide easier if we are underwater or in distance to communicate. Look at our military that they use hand signals to communicate in silent mode or underwater. Some are similar to our ASL, too.
• Please don't remove our ASL and we need to keep our rights to preserve as long as we live.
